Morwell Cougars opened up scoring in the first inning, when Brett Toms singled on a 1-1 count, scoring two runs.

Traralgon Redsox pulled away for good with two runs in the second inning. In the second Brett Sharp singled on a 3-1 count, scoring one run.

Traralgon Redsox tallied eight runs in the fifth inning. Max Smith, Jay Ziersch, Will Brooker, and Sharp each had RBIs in the frame.

Brad Pratt got the start for Traralgon Redsox. He surrendered two runs on three hits over four innings, striking out five and walking zero.

Wesley Duggan toed the rubber for Morwell Cougars. He surrendered nine runs on eight hits over three innings, striking out three. Floyd Haines threw one and one-third innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Traralgon Redsox racked up 15 hits. Sharp, James Lynch, Josh Graham, Brooker, and Smith each managed multiple hits for Traralgon Redsox. Sharp led Traralgon Redsox with three hits in five at bats.

Traralgon Redsox took Sunday's game in dramatic fashion, with an 11-10 walk-off victory over Morwell Cougars. Traralgon Redsox was down 10-7 in the bottom of the fifth inning when Brenton Pump homered on a 1-0 count, scoring four runs.

Traralgon Redsox built a four-run lead in the second inning and then held off Morwell Cougar's charge. Morwell Cougars tallied nine runs in the failed comeback. Wesley Duggan, Kenny Dron, Rob Moffatt, Jason Dwyer, Roger Wells, and Micheal Aubrey picked up RBIs to lead the rally.

Traralgon Redsox took an early lead in the first inning when Brian Dillon singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

In the top of the third inning, Morwell Cougars tied things up at five when Dwyer grounded out, scoring one run.

Morwell Cougars scored four runs in the third inning. The offensive onslaught by Morwell Cougars was led by Duggan, Dron, Moffatt, and Dwyer, all sending runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

Wayne Beames led things off on the hill for Traralgon Redsox. He lasted three innings, allowing five hits and five runs while striking out three.

Traralgon Redsox socked two home runs on the day. Pump had a four bagger in the fifth inning. Chris Cooper went for the long ball in the second inning.

Traralgon Redsox totaled 13 hits in the game. Cooper, Dennis Caulfield, and Dan Smith each racked up multiple hits for Traralgon Redsox. Smith, Caulfield, and Cooper each managed two hits to lead Traralgon Redsox.
