Traralgon hosted Churchill and had another very successful day.

The Traralgon Redsox beat the Churchill Braves 12-4 in six innings on Sunday at KLP after a seven-run explosion in the fourth inning.

The Traralgon Redsox scored in the fourth on a two-run double by Brad Pratt, a single by Ji Eccles, an RBI single by Brett Sharp, an error, and a groundout by Sam Keast.

 

Brad racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Traralgon Redsox .

 

 

Troy McKay was solid at the plate for the Churchill Braves . Troy went 3-4 and scored one run. He singled in the first, second, and fourth innings.

 

Brad got the win for the Traralgon Redsox . He allowed four runs over six innings. Brad struck out eight, walked one and gave up 12 hits.

The top of the first saw the Churchill Braves take an early lead, 2-0. The Churchill Braves 's threat began with a single by Troy. A double by Shane Gillthen moved Troy from first to third. Jason Barnes singled, bringing home Troy and Shane.

The Traralgon Redsox never trailed after scoring three runs in the first on a fielder's choice and two singles.

The Traralgon Redsox (A) cruise past the Churchill Braves (A), 8-1

 

The Traralgon Redsox pounded the Churchill Braves on Sunday 8-1 at KLP.

The Traralgon Redsox scored three runs in the fourth on the Traralgon Redsox scored in the fourth on an RBI single by Brian Spiteri, a groundout byJosh Graham, and an RBI single by Damien Goodman.

 

Tom Rynberk put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Traralgon Redsox . He doubled in the fourth and fifth innings and singled in the seventh and eighth innings.

 

 

Brad Adams put together a nice outing. Brad Adams held the Churchill Braves hitless over four innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four. But the highlight for the Redsox was when up and comer Jordan Spiteri came into the game in pressure situations he came up with two clutch hits giving the Redsox the buffer they needed to shut out the game.
