The Traralgon Redsox (A) score early and often in 24-5 win over the Churchill Braves (A)

The Traralgon Redsox jumped out to an early lead on the Churchill Braves and captured a 24-5 victory on Sunday at Toners Lane.

With 10 runs in the first three innings, the Traralgon Redsox left no doubt about the eventual outcome.

An error in the first inning and an RBI single by Brian Spiteri, an RBI single by Luke Hornstra, and a wild pitch during the second inning helped the Traralgon Redsox put some runs on the board early.

 

Brad Adams went a perfect 3-3 at the dish for the Traralgon Redsox . He doubled in the second inning and singled in the third and fifth innings.

 

 

Hornstra handled the Churchill Braves 's lineup with ease, racking up six strikeouts. Hornstra allowed no earned runs, three hits and one walk over four innings.

 

The Churchill Braves were hurt by a number of miscues in the field. The Churchill Braves committed four errors which led to two unearned runs for the Traralgon Redsox .

The Traralgon Redsox easily handled the Churchill Braves pitching as seven hitters combined for 19 hits, 17 RBIs and 22 runs scored.

The Traralgon Redsox scored six runs in the third inning, and then followed it up with six more in the sixth. In the third, the Traralgon Redsox scored on a sacrifice fly by Josh Graham, bringing home Brad Adams.

The Traralgon Redsox jumped out to an early lead on Morwell Cougars and captured a 20-7 victory on Sunday at Toners Lane.

With 16 runs in the first three innings, the Traralgon Redsox left no doubt about the eventual outcome.

A two-run single by Mark Seeber, an RBI single by Josh Graham, a two-run single by Mick Adams, a two-run double by Duncan McAlister, and an RBI double by Ji Eccles in the first inning and an RBI double by Matt Robertson during the second inning supplied the early offense for the Traralgon Redsox .

 

Morwell Cougars couldn't slow down Eccles, who paced the Traralgon Redsox with five hits.

 

 

Brad Pratt handled Morwell Cougars 's lineup with ease, racking up six strikeouts. Pratt allowed no earned runs on three hits and no walks over four innings.

 

Morwell Cougars was hurt by a number of miscues in the field. Morwell Cougars committed three errors which led to four unearned runs for the Traralgon Redsox .
