Owen Godenzi leads the Traralgon Redsox (A) to 35-0 win over the Sale Rangers (A)

An exceptional effort by Owen Godenzi hoisted the Traralgon Redsox to a 35-0 win in seven innings over the Sale Rangers on Sunday at Stephenson Park.

Godenzi racked up seven RBIs on three hits for the Traralgon Redsox . He singled in the third inning and homered in the fourth and sixth innings.


The Traralgon Redsox 's Damien Goodman kept the Sale Rangers off the scoreboard for all seven innings he was on the hill. He pitched a shutout, allowing no opposing players to cross the plate on two hits while ringing up nine.


The Traralgon Redsox continued to add runs until the end of the game. The Traralgon Redsox scored three runs in the last one innings to finish off the win. The Traralgon Redsox scored 10 runs in the third on the Traralgon Redsox scored in the third on a wild pitch, an RBI single by Godenzi, a two-run triple by Brad Adams, an RBI single by Goodman, a fielder's choice, an RBI single by Tom Rynberk, an error, and an RBI single by John Kus.

The Traralgon Redsox easily handled the Sale Rangers pitching as nine hitters combined for 24 hits, 31 RBIs and 35 runs scored.

The Traralgon Redsox didn't relinquish the lead after scoring seven runs in the first inning when they scored on a two-run double by Rynberk, a sacrifice fly by Kus, and two singles.

The Traralgon Redsox piled on five more runs in the top of the second. A ground out scored Ben Laux to start the scoring in the inning.


B Grade - 

The Traralgon Redsox (B) jump on the Sale Rangers (B) early and coast to 15-5 win

The Traralgon Redsox jumped out to an early lead on the Sale Rangers and captured a 15-5 victory on Sunday at Stephenson Park.

Fifteen runs in the first three innings allowed the Traralgon Redsox to put the game away early.

A fielder's choice in the first inning and an error, an RBI single by Will Brooker, an RBI triple by Ji Eccles, an RBI single by Brad Pratt, and a two-run double by Josh Graham during the second inning supplied the early offense for the Traralgon Redsox .


Eccles had two extra-base hits for the Traralgon Redsox .



Mick Adams was a workhorse on the hill for the Traralgon Redsox . Adams allowed one earned run, four hits and three walks while striking out five over seven innings of work.


The Sale Rangers were hurt by a number of miscues in the field. The Sale Rangers committed four errors which led to four unearned runs for the Traralgon Redsox .

The Traralgon Redsox easily handled the Sale Rangers pitching as six hitters combined for 13 hits, 10 RBIs and 12 runs scored.
