The Traralgon Redsox (A) jump on the Churchill Braves (A) early and coast to 9-0 win
The Traralgon Redsox jumped out to an early lead on the Churchill Braves and captured a 9-0 victory on Sunday at KLP.
The game was decided quickly as the Traralgon Redsox exerted their will early with six runs in the first three innings.
An RBI double by Tom Rynberk in the first inning and a two-run error, an error, and a walk by Owen Godenzi during the second inning supplied the early offense for the Traralgon Redsox .
Rynberk got on base four times in the game for the Traralgon Redsox . He scored one run and had one RBI.
Luke Hornstra looked sharp on the mound. Hornstra gave up just two hits, allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out four during his five innings of work.
Tim Bellerby lasted two innings on the hill for the Churchill Braves before being removed. Bellerby gave up two hits and five runs.

The Traralgon Redsox beat the Churchill Braves 2-1 in seven innings on Sunday at KLP behind Mark Seeber, who went 3-3 at the plate.
He singled in the first, fourth, and sixth innings.
The Churchill Braves couldn't get anything going so long as Brad Pratt was on the hill. Pratt gave up just three hits, allowed one earned run, walked two and struck out four during his five innings of work.
In the first inning, the Churchill Braves pushed across their only run of the day on a groundout by Jason Barnes.
The Traralgon Redsox didn't relinquish the lead after scoring two runs in the third inning when they scored on an RBI single by Tom Rynberk.
