A true "homegrown" talent, Will’s journey with the Redsox began at the very beginning—playing Tee-Ball at Kevin Lythgo Reserve—and has seen him evolve into one of the most reliable and knowledgeable figures at the club.
Will has spent nearly his entire life on the diamond. His transition from a standout junior player to a key senior contributor was seamless, marked by his deep understanding of the game’s nuances. Having previously served as an Assistant Coach for our Under 16s alongside John Kus, Will has spent years honing his ability to bridge the gap between junior development and senior performance.

As one of the most decorated players and experienced coaches in the history of the Latrobe Valley Baseball Association (LVBA), having "Kussy" in the dugout is a massive win for our developing seniors and experienced veterans alike.
John’s resume speaks for itself. playing since the age of 11 and coaching since 17, he has been a cornerstone of the Redsox for decades. He has served as Club Coach, A Grade Coach, and Junior Coach, and was the architect behind the club’s historic "Triple Crown" era, where his vision for youth development led to premierships across all three senior grades.

As the coach of our entry-level senior squad, Duncan plays one of the most vital roles in the club, acting as the primary mentor for our newest players and the steady hand for our returning veterans.
Duncan’s approach to coaching is the perfect blend of patience, instruction, and passion. He understands that C Grade is where the Redsox culture is often first built for many players.
Whether he’s teaching a convert from another sport the fundamentals of the "cut-off" or helping a junior find their confidence against senior pitching, Duncan’s focus is always on improvement and enjoyment.
