Sale Rangers (A) fought back after falling down by seven runs in the second inning. The comeback fell just short though, in a 15-14 defeat to Traralgon Redsox (A) on Sunday. Sale Rangers (A) scored 13 runs in the failed comeback on a fielder's choice by Brad Bronts in the second, a walk by Lachlan Wriggleworth in the second, a walk by Will Hector in the second, a walk by Kevin Arbuthnot in the second, a single by Brodie Bromley in the second, a single by Nathan Hoffman in the second, a groundout by Arbuthnot in the third, a double by Tim Hector in the fifth, a single by Hector in the fifth, a single by Kade Eicke in the fifth, and a double by Bromley in the fifth.

 

Sale Rangers (A) collected eight hits and Traralgon Redsox (A) had 14 in the high-scoring affair.

 

Traralgon Redsox (A) got on the board in the first inning. Jordan Gilmore's sac fly scored one run for Traralgon Redsox (A).

 

Sale Rangers (A) evened things up at eight in the bottom of the second inning when Hoffman singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.

 

Traralgon Redsox (A) pulled away for good with four runs in the third inning. In the third Brian Spiteri doubled on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs and Will Brooker singled on a 0-2 count, scoring two runs.

 

Sale Rangers (A) put up seven runs in the second inning. Bronts, Wriggleworth, Hector, Arbuthnot, Bromley, and Hoffman each had RBIs in the frame.

 

Traralgon Redsox (A) scored six runs in the second inning. Traralgon Redsox (A)'s big inning was driven by singles by Gilmore, Spiteri, Max Smith, and Lee Donoghue and a fielder's choice by Brad Adams.

 

Brooker got the start for Traralgon Redsox (A). He went one and one-third innings, allowing eight runs on two hits.

 

Traralgon Redsox (A) tallied 14 hits on the day. Gilmore, Spiteri, Smith, Steven Cox, and Brooker all had multiple hits for Traralgon Redsox (A).

Sale Rangers (B) grabbed an early lead on its way to a 15-1 victory over Traralgon Redsox (B) on Sunday. Sale Rangers (B) scored on a single by Andrew Pembrey, a single by Brodie Bromley, an error, and a single by Anthony Clissold in the first inning.

 

Sale Rangers (B) secured the victory thanks to eight runs in the second inning. Matt Fahy, Bromley, Jack Neesham, Joel Grumley, and Pembrey each drove in runs during the inning.

 

Sale Rangers (B) scored eight runs in the second inning. The offensive firepower by Sale Rangers (B) was led by Fahy, Bromley, Neesham, Grumley, and Pembrey, all sending runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

 

Max Smith started the game for Traralgon Redsox (B). He allowed six hits and 13 runs over one and two-thirds innings, striking out one. Wayne Beames threw three innings out of the bullpen.

Shigenori Suzuki went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Traralgon Redsox (B) in hits.

Sale Rangers (C) defeated Traralgon Redsox (C) 15-11 on Sunday after taking the lead late in the game. The game was tied at ten with Sale Rangers (C) batting in the bottom of the third when Matt Fahy homered on a 1-0 count, scoring three runs.

 

Anthony Clissold led Sale Rangers (C) to victory by driving in five runs. He went 3-for-3 at the plate. Clissold drove in runs on a single in the first, a single in the second, and a single in the third.

 

Sale Rangers (C) captured the lead in the first inning. Andrew Pembrey singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

 

Jack Neesham toed the rubber for Sale Rangers (C). He surrendered nine runs on five hits over two innings, striking out two.

 

Brenton Pump started the game for Traralgon Redsox (C). He allowed five hits and 14 runs over two innings, striking out four.

 

Clissold went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Sale Rangers (C) in hits. Pembrey led Sale Rangers (C) with three stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with seven stolen bases.

 

Traralgon Redsox (C) collected nine hits on the day. Pump and Brian Dillon all managed multiple hits for Traralgon Redsox (C). Traralgon Redsox (C) didn't commit a single error in the field. Dillon had the most chances in the field with four.
