Moe Newborough Dodgers (A) fell behind early and couldn't come back in an 11-3 loss to Traralgon Redsox (A) on Sunday. Traralgon Redsox (A) scored on a home run by Warwick Poole in the first inning and a wild pitch during Caleb Poole's at bat in the first inning.

 

The Moe Newborough Dodgers (A) struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Traralgon Redsox (A), giving up 11 runs.

Traralgon Redsox (A) got on the board in the first inning when Poole hit a solo homer.

Traralgon Redsox (A) scored three runs in the sixth inning. The big inning for Traralgon Redsox (A) came thanks to singles by Max Smith and Poole.

 

Matt Robertson led things off on the rubber for Traralgon Redsox (A). He went four innings, allowing one run on one hit and striking out three.

 

Traralgon Redsox (A) tallied two home runs on the day. Poole had a long ball in the fifth inning. Poole went for the long ball in the first inning.

Roy Simpson was clutch at the plate with ducks on the pond on Sunday, driving in five on three hits to lead Moe Newborough Dodgers (B) past Traralgon Redsox (B) 15-5 on Sunday. Simpson drove in runs on a single in the fourth, a home run in the fifth, and a single in the sixth.

 

Traralgon Redsox (B) scored four runs in the seventh inning, but Moe Newborough Dodgers (B) still managed to pull out the victory. Traralgon Redsox (B) offense in the inning was led by Max Smith, Brett Sharp, and Brad Pratt, who each had RBIs in the inning.

 

Moe Newborough Dodgers (B) notched six runs in the sixth inning. Simpson, Nathan Robinson, David Robinson, Ash Poxon, and Tim Wilson each drove in runs during the inning.

 

Wilson was on the mound for Moe Newborough Dodgers (B). He surrendered five runs on nine hits over six and two-thirds innings, striking out six and walking one.

 

Pratt got the start for Traralgon Redsox (B). He allowed six hits and four runs over four innings. John Kus threw two innings out of the bullpen.

Moe Newborough Dodgers (C)'s bats were strong against Traralgon Redsox (C) on Sunday, but it wasn't enough as Moe Newborough Dodgers (C) fell 24-13.

 

The Moe Newborough Dodgers (C) struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Traralgon Redsox (C), giving up 24 runs.

 

Traralgon Redsox (C) got things started in the first inning when Micka Adams drew a walk, scoring one run. Traralgon Redsox (C) took the lead for good with seven runs in the third inning. In the third an error scored one run for Traralgon Redsox (C), an error scored one run for Traralgon Redsox (C), Dennis Caulfield singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, Rob Mowat singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run, Adams singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, Dennis Smith doubled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run, and Doug Burgar singled on a 1-2 count, scoring two runs.
